I know a lot of people think the MK:D team has crossed the line by allowing this many ninjas to slip in the game, but let's think about this for moment.

MK1-UMK3, we had more ninja's than we could shake a stick at. But now each character has an individual look, and is separated by unique visual aspects. So really, we're defining what a ninja is by one thing: the costumes they wear.

But some people just stare directly into the present only to see the past. Some of us need to understand that what was once a ninja, is now a clan headmaster. What was once a ninja, is now a king among dragons. What was once a ninja, has become a weird thing in a funky black suit(call it what you will). The only true ninjas we have in this game are Ermac and Scorpion.

And I never even considered Mileena to be ninja. A face mask and a purple swim suit doesn't equivalate to ninja, my friends. And if Smoke returns, he'll probably be a cyborg, so no qualms there, right? Don't get me wrong, though. I'd still rather have human Smoke.
