Lui Kang was one of the best character whether people here like it or not! There are haters and there are lovers,the haters are on this site,the lovers don't have time to babble there mouths or type for the entire day so it doesn't mean everyone hate Lui Kang,it's just that most of his fans are not on this site.

I kind of got bored of liu after MK3...I'm happy they changed him a litle tough, I want to see his change

I always liked Liu Kang, and I am glad that he will be back in Deception, I'm gonna stomp the DK's eyeballs out with him .

he is a very simple character in depth and style. His moves are basic, and his look is very plain. His moves make him a very powerful character for skilled or even unskilled fighters, but he just isn't as cool or intriguing as a lot of the other characters.

I don't hate him, but I certainly put a lot of other characters ahead of him.

Liu will kick everyones ass including the DK to put it in short terms

You couldnt be more right Siduu101, the people that talks like that of a character does not have an open mind, they just care about the way they think about it and thats it!!!

AS U know i like liu kang in mk1 and mk2.i do play him alot in those games.. i just really hated his look and story in mk3-mk4 gold....it was horrible,and just the fact they kept making him the champ..he should have been the champ once.. they should have let kung lao get the spot light atleast once...i mean i really really really hated liu in mk3 and mk4...i hope they give him a new look something that is totally different from mk3 and mk4.!!!

It's not that I hate him. But they made him into a character that defeats everyone. He is the best fighter. But I just get tired of his Jibberish when he does his flying kick and shit like that.

But I think they needed someone to take his place because he was getting all of the attention in every story line there is.

I don't hate him, but I don't like him either. His story is very, very short in depth. He always beats everybody and was always becomes the champion. When he wasn't really that good.

I have to agree with Bucky on this one.

Liu Kang is one of those characters that I don't really care for... if he dies YAY if he is alive YAY, I just don't care for him. However his voice is very very very annoying!!!!

The only thing I hated about Liu Kang is this: You're fighting against someone who selected LK, you peek over and see that person holding the low kick button before the match even starts, the announcer says fight! .........block.......harpoon, freeze, whatever, and combo. By that time, your opponent has lost at least 25% of health. Hahaha.....so predictable. But what is MK without LK? You gotta have him.

Well it doesnt matter if you guys like him or hate him, hes not playable in Deception. He just in the story line.

The only really thing I disliked about liu kang, is that he always had the same appearance(Red headband, red tanktop, and black pants) and moves(Flying kick, Bycicle kick, 2 fireballs). I loved the moves he had, but it would be nice to see some new and improved moves and a new and improved appearance. He is an awesome fighter, and I love to kick ass with him. I just hope he has some more to offer when it comes to MK:D.

red tanktop, was only in mk4 actually..

I'm a fan of the 'anti-hero' type...I just can't help but hate the 'chosen heroes'..Liu Kang was "the champion" long enough *too long for my taste"..it was high time he got 'broken'..*when he died..I laughed and pranced..*

Just about anyone other then a member of the 'White Lotus Society' could take on the role of 'champion'...and I wouldn't care.

Anyway, I think Liu Kang is too ordinary.

I must admit whenever I play with my girlfriend, she chooses Liu because .... -> -> A.....-> -> B...... he's pretty simple.

I'm just glad he's dead, and if he makes a comeback, he better have very complex fighting styles allowing him to do Mortal Kombos (no pun intended) heheheh

Liu Kang was a classic character.

If Liu Kang is in Deception that's excellent!
Hoping he's got lots of new moves,and hope they've lowered his voice volume a bit when does his kiai during the bicycle kick.
