I totally agree with you. I want to see a dark game with a dark ending.

What if Shao Kahn helps the earth warriors to defeat the Dragon King and after the DK is defeated Shao Kahn takes the throne for himself and conquers earthrealm while the earth warriors are weak.I think It would be badass for the bad guy to win for once.

The bad guys did win in a few ways:

Shang Tsung and Quan Chi Killed Liu Kang.
Noob Saibot killed Goro

What would you guys think of a prequel to the first MK? The only returning Characters would be Goro, Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn?, Raiden, and maybe Fujin. The origional Kung Lao could be the main protagonist, but hopefully he'd look different than the present Kung Lao. Other than those, a completly new Roster. I think that could work, but only if all the new characters would be designed really cool and be original.

To be honest, it seems like the bad guys have the edge so far, in a way.

Liu kang is dead, and his returning zombie form will probably be evil.

Rumours are spewing that raiden might die.

Goro is killed. Kitana is captured.

Earthrealm warriors cant help because there portal was nuked by hsu hao.

The DK is born, Kahn seems like he might still be alive, noob is back, baraka is back, mileena is back, the DA are well, hotaru is evil, Kira will probably be bad, ETC. Seems like theres alot of villians, and so far, most of the great good characters are shrinking.

actually in mk5, The bad guys probably did win (well see) because the dragon king took over in MK6. Well see what happened to the deadly alliance anyways.

I would like to see a Mortal Kombat game that has a bad guy vs. badder guy scenario.

He ressurects them as an elite oni extermination squad. They are the incarnated Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse. They destroy the higher plain and enslave the Elder Gods. Is it just me or do you guys want to kill off the series? lol. If the "bad guys" win, then there will be no next Mortal Kombat because earthrealm will be taken over and probably closely watched by guards. I mean they arent just gonna let a monk train for 20 years so he can beat teh dragon king.

I think the Dragon King needs to come out of MK:D on top so he can be the third villain to be the end boss of more than one game.

Well, Shao never won per se, but he definitely came out on top between MKII and MK3, thanks to Sindel.

Anyways, I see the Dragon King losing but Shao Kahn taking advantage of everyone being weakened by the fight and lack of trust caused by the deceptions. If he doesn't come out on top at the end of MKD then by the beginninc of MK7

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Liu Kang's winning MKI null the "One more tournament" risk? They have to win 10 in a row, don't they? Hence, if the bad guys won one or two official MK tournaments (which, really, there have not been since MKI), it wouldn't be such a big deal.

What's wrong with you guys? Don't you see that the bad guys HAVE indeed won several times?

-In MK Konquest (TV series) Shao Khan eliminated ALL of his enemies. That's what I call eternal darkness...
-The DA killed Liu Kang (How unexpected and evil can that be? I mean, HEY! It's earth's MK CHAMPION!!!)
-The Elder God's are letting the bad guys do what they want (sort of)
-There ARE many dead guys "escaping" hell (Baraka, Scorpion all the time, Mileena, 2 Oni's in DA, ...)
-The DK and his UNDEFEATABLE army is back
-The Earth warriors are decreasing by every MK game (Don't you think so too?)
-Many of Earth warrior's keep on dying (such as Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Raiden, etc.)

And there is indeed a war raging between the bad guys (Seriously, I don't understand what you guys want!). Take Shao Khan for example, unloyal servants everywhere. Or the DK. As soon as he appears, even the bad guys will hate him. And pretty much all bad guys are rivals among themselves.
And the good guys will always be there, you can't prevent that from happening. Do you want guys like Sub-Zero, SP forces, Gods, Liu Kang/Kung Lao to stay away? If you only want bad guys, should Kenshi, Scorpion, Nitara, etc. stay away then?
It would fit in to the concept of MK.

The story of MK is perfect, as it is already. That's my opinion. (Though I must say that too many unexplainable things are happening at the moment, such as dead people that appear from no where. But I'm sure that it shall be explained when MKD appears.)

BTW, Kahn actually "won" mk2. You can see how the bad guys tricked EVERYONE and made them fight to distract them, in order to resurrect SINDEL for Mk3.
