I know that a lot of people (including myself)did'nt like most of the characters in this game. However, there is no denying that there were some great concepts, in this game, some of which I think would be going to waste if not further explored. I personally think that Fujin's becming the new protector of earth would be as redeeming to the series as the death of Liu Kang. And what about Rieko? Although not my personal favorite, I do think that he was interesting (at least more interesting than some of the characters in MK:DA), because of his ties to Shou Kahn. I know that he is not Kahn, but, since they made the ending as such, therfore, I think that his story should be better clarified.

I think that these two characters, at least, should be given another chance.
