eeh. If they hadn't brought back Noob, Ermac, and Smoke already, I'd be inclined to agree with you. As it is, I'd have to say leave him out for a game. If he came back in MK7 with a new look, I'd be happy.

first of all only noob ermac sub and scorp have been confirmed sot thats 4/7 second you forgot the coolest ninja of all until mkda rolled around and screwed him up and third ermac was not a secret charactor he was a glitch in the orig. mk that had to end up in mkt

smoke has been confirmed to be in MKD and I dont consider reptile a regular ninja anymore since MK4. He's more like a brute now.

it would be great if rain came back, apart from suby i always play with the female characters, RAIN was always the exception and his story could be expanded apon alot. especially with the deception theme.

oh oh oh oh lets not forget chameleon, then we can have a game with all ninjas.

Smoke has been confirmed, But he's not a ninja anymore. So that leaves one open for Rain (without a mask and a new costume).

But even if Rain isn't in, I'll make him. Think Keanu Reaves from "Bill and Ted" but wearing some kind of purple uniform. Really whatever they give me to use.

I think the reason so many ninjas are back is because this tournament (if it is one?) is being held in outworld. Rain *could* be a hidden char. or not even in the game, doesn't bother me at all.

The focus would be probably there in outworld.
I just hope this is were alot of the ninjas get

There's nothing saying Smoke won't be a ninja. He rumored to be "not human or cyborg, just smoke" but that doesn't mean the "smoke" won't still resemble a Lin Kuei warrior. For those who don't know Smoke's confirmation comes from interviews with the MK design team memebers.


I wouldn't be surpised to see Rain and/or Reptile as hidden characters, completing the swap ninja roster.

Reptile isnt a ninja nomore.

subzero looks like a samerai.

scorpion is the one that looks like a ninja cause he is one.

Smoke is smoke now.

ermac looks like shinobi.

and rain could look like .... well i thought rain was reiko when i first saw screens of mk4 before it came out. too bad, if they had rain without his mask, everyboddy would think its reiko. same outfit they had.

and since raiden dies, we need some lighting special moves and such. so rain WILL be in mk7 IMO cause they need lighting attcks and to fill the ninja roster. they should make reiko look diff. cause i know he will make the next game to finally finish story and die off, as a filler fighter.

and then make rain without his mask and stuff.
and different looking pants, like purple baggy pants. his eyes all blackish around them and beat up looking i guess. rain shouldnt have a mask to make them ALL look different. sub, smoke, reptile they all look different.

just make rain look different, andddd make noob look different by giving him a grim reaper outfit, you know the skirt thing and the weapon and the hood with no face being shown just pitch black.

i dont really care for rain, he was the only ninja that wasnt really known like the others.

ALSO, kameleon, hell no. a rainbow ninja, with all of the other ninjas moves is VERY stupid.

he was generic. unless you make kamleon make it look ugly like reptile from MKDA, where it has a tail and all, and can camofluge with the environment.
