Well the mk team have been working ONLY on the ps2 and xbox verison so far, they havent started the gamecube verison yet.So which means that since mkd is going to be release on the gamecube early 2005 which will be rushed IMO.So I personaly dont think that the gamecube verison will be any better then the ps2 or xbox.
If they have started on the gamecube verison already its probably not much anyway since they might be still working alittle bit on the xbox and ps2 verison.
You just got to think that a game that is taking them over a year to make and is going to be rushed to the gamecube in less the half a year.
p.s. I have no idea why this was posted 3 times but i went and deleted it until they close the thread, again i was not tring to post this that many times.

You obviously have no clue what direct port means. They are porting the PS2 version (so its identical) the only difference is a few exclusive features and no online play for the gamecube. Unless its something technical (like someone hating gamecube controls) you really cant say that the PS2 version will be better since it will be identical.

#1 - By the screenshots of the Gamecube version IGN posted, the Gamecube version is probably further along then we may think. Those screenshots even showed us the first clear images of Noob Saibot.
#2 - The only problem I can see with the Gamecube version is if they have a ton of FMV, which they will have to compress it. I don't think the actual game will take up that much room on the disc. Mortal Kombat:Deadly Alliance was only a 566MB game on PS2 with just the Audio and game/graphics data but without the video. The PS2 version with the video(FMV's) was 2.1GB.

Eh, I hate the GC controlling of MKDA & MKD (which will most likely have the same control scheme), because if you press the directionals too fast, fatalities don't work (since all 4 directionals are connected), as compared to the PS2 Controller.
The good part would be the enhanced graphix, tho, but that's about it.
