I am sure they needed a break from all the fatalities and their storylines for all characters. I know MK is known for this but one game is not going to kill it for me because it already did in MK armageddon for me. I know from just looking at the trailer it is interesting already even though i don't like the idea but i am curious how the gameplay mechanic works. If it works fine then i'll have fun playing it with my kombat friends. I just hope the stages look dark and not cheerful and the stage in trailer fighting in a cemetary with the moon shining bright in the back reminds me of mk 2 and lets hope there are way more stages that look like that. If it does not work out this game well you can bet MK will be back with all its glory with an even more improved unreal engine in 2010. yeah its 2-3 years from now but you take what is given to you or just wait another two years plain and simple......... fuk it grin

That's such a fitting quote. The crossover thing is stupid, I think, and should never really have happened, but it's happening, so you might as well just lighten up and enjoy the cheese as best you can. That's what I'm doing. I mean come on. Sub Zero vs Batman? How could you stay angry at that, it's just so absurd. I think people would hate the game a lot less if they stopped thinking of it as an actual MK game and started thinking of it as just a bit of stupid fun involving MK characters.

Then again, I stopped caring about MK when it stopped being playable, so maybe the reason I can stomach this crossover game is because I just don't care anymore anyway. But I recommend that too.
