Why the hell Ashrah?? i mean...
Whats her story?
She does ́nt fit on a mk game, right?
They just put someone useless and expect us to play with her.
They could have put one of these characters instead:

Kung Lao
Rain
Jax
Raiden

And I got perfect stories for those characters if you thats what you need:

KUNG LAO:He defeated the dragon king and was returning back while suddenly he was attacked by liu kang. Liu kang says: "The dragon king is the one who gave me back my soul and you killed him. Now I wil kill YOU!!!!!!!!" then i dont know the rest.

RAIN:Theres a thread about him so im gonna write as they said: During the thread of Shinnok and the deadly alliance Rain had been training and been able to control the weather: the rain and lightning. Then he travelled to the elder god hoping that he could become the god of Weather! On his way he found out about the thread of the dragon king so he thought that if he defeated him he would have proven himself to be god of weather.

JAX:Dont know!!!

RAIDEN:Don ́t know anything yet but of course he
just want to defeat the dragon king!!!

What do YOU think. Any ideas?

I'm looking forward to using Ashrah, she has a unique look compared to other females in MK. Why have remakes of old characters, when we can have fresh new ones?

I think Ashrah is looking great. She seems mysterious and dark. Her look is great, its different from any other MK female.
I would like Raiden, Sonya and Kung Lao back though.

I'm not much of a fan of ashrah but I'm willing to give her a chance to see her story, her fatals and her alts, your stories suck imo, sorry

but I would like to see kung lao and raiden back...

I hate when ppl try to speak for everyone because i think that Ashrah looks like a really interesting char even though i would have much rather had Rain then her, but even so. From what i hear, her story sounds pretty cool and very Mk like. I dont know she could turn out to be another kai or jerek, one of those chars u just forget about after they make an apperance. Guess we will just have to wait and see

Isn't it kind of early to say she doesn't have a story and she doesn't fit in? So far we know she's a demon huntress. Which means she could be hunting Sareena or Noob Saibot or maybe even Scorpion. That's a story right there.

i think that ashrah is kinda cool, i hope she has some really good special moves, but as for jax, he is confirmed...at least i think he was in one of the interviews a while back...

I think MK needs some fresh blood.. it's like everybody is begging to get old ones back but they forget how valuable the new ones can be to the story..

Personally, I don't know if anyone will agree with me,but I think everyone should just wait till Deception gets released before they start complaining. You haven't even played as Ashrah! How can you tell me she's a waste of a character slot when you have no idea what her combos are, what her story is, what her fatalites are like, or anything else for that matter other than she's got a hat and wears white?!?!? I'm sorry, but I am really getting tired of people judging characters and this game before they even give it a shot!

I think new stuff keeps the game fresh.Imagine having a mortal kombat game without one new character or something new,if you like babialities,brutalities old classics and the old fighting engine go and play it mortal kombat can't remain the same forever.

Ashrah, is just another clone i dont even consider her a new character.Why cant boon stick with new fighters and new looks.Ashrah is the frost of mkd and she will get whooped.

Same here. I think Ashrah has great potential and is not a clone of Raiden IMO. I look forward to playing as her this October.
I can't really make many comments on her as of yet, mainly because I don't really know sod all about her. But I will say this, I don't like her look at all

Yeah really? A clone of what? The only close person I can see that might seem like her is Raiden and that's just cuz he's wearing white.

And Kai was unique too. IS there any other MK character that has moves while standing on his/her hands? I don't think so.

i think ashrah looks really cool,shes most likely gonna be the first character i try to familiarize myself with,and as far as being a clone...thats far from the truth only similarity is she wears a damn hat
