I think he'll have ground blade. Boon said that old characters will have all their old specials.
Impaling move won't come back, because there is no more special attack button. And I think this is good .

hmm, hard to say, we've seen 2 of his movies already (being the spin and the weird energy ball he shoots out of his eyes) from the new video of him fighting dairou, but...if you pause it right when it goes into the special moves list (which is only a split second so you gotta be fast) you'll see he only has one other, and it didnt say anything about ground blade...but who knows, maybe they'll still throw it in before its released....

His special move list in the vid is: Raging Flash (probably the spin move), Plasma Blast, and Nomad's Touch (whatever the hell that is). So unless, as you said, they add in the ground saw at the last minute, looks like he might not have it.

But maybe he'll use it in one of his fatalities.

I didn't knew about that, but I remember that Ed said in a video that all the characters would have AT LEAST 4 special moves... and some would have 5 or even more...

anyway I would like to see Kabal use the ground saw, it was an original move who could be useful in 3-D against a cheap opponent like Hotaru

yeah. kabal was an awesome character from mk3.

his moves were awesome, and i thought his fatalities were awesome too.

the ground saw is awesome, its just as key to kabal as is his spin and hookswords. i would say, if anything, to make a returning character have a new move, they should replace their 'fireball' move. most characters have these, like drahmins flies, kabals plasma ball, liu kang fireballs, etc, etc...

even so, if ed boon said they would have atleast 4 special moves, then im sure they would add it.

also, if you notice, in those videos, there arent alot of combos going on, the most ive seen is a 3 or 4 hit that actually registered under the characters lifebar. so maybe, those things havent been implimented in the versions weve seen.

im about to check the videos that show the movelists to see if i can see any combos.

yup but in that video it also says at the bottom 1/3 meaning theres more pages of special moves. i thought maybe it represents the fighting styles and weapon moves list but that would have to be 1/4

1. First fighting style.

2. Second fighting style.

2. Weapon.

4. Special moves.

So if theres 3 special moves per page it could be he has 7 to 9 special moves, i hope.

Kabal rules...yeah i know i sure hope so too, the ground blade was wickedsick in mk3, yeah thats it, maybe nomad's touch is it...but who knows, sure doesnt sound like it...i know thats true, ed said there were gonna be at least 4 for each character, 35 days (am i right?) till its released, they still have alot of work to do, dont worry too much guys, i'm sure it'll be in there, its a classic move of his, i dont see why they wouldnt want to redesign it for the new one, imagine the brutal possibilities, hehehe

nomad touch is a move that reverse throw I think
