They did back in UMK3.
But i don't know if it would be good to have a tournament mode on a crossover game like this one.

Maybe MK9?

The only reason i say that is because if they are invading MK's world then i doubt they would play fair and have a tournament ;)

I would love to see it in future MK games though. I always thought it was fun in UMK3 and the DBZ games.
