Would each of you like it if the MK team decided to add Shao Khan into the new MK6 game not as a Boss/Subboss but as an ordinary playable character? I know I would. Think about it when Quan Chi and Shang Tsung "killed him" or thought they did they only crippled and weakened him and that could be the reason to come back... Revenge. The only way to regain his strength would be to take the souls of the two most powerful sorcerers in the Universe it would be a prime example of poetic justice and just what he would need to defeat the Dragon King.

Everybody's talking about Shao Khan lately due to the fact that he's a popular character and some people would like to see him in the upcoming MK game. And responding to the comment concerning him being overused or being dead I only have to make one reference, Johnny Cage. But I really think you guys and gals misunderstood me. I dont want the SAME OLD Shao Khan, I want a new more developed one with intricate story, special moves, fatalities etc. and I believe that they can accomplish that with establishing him as an ordinary character.

I think he SHOULD be BACK, only briefly though, because they didnt exploit his death enough... they should bring him back less powerfull like they did in MK4 to finally KILL HIM in a cool way,
plus, I dont want any more new crappy characters like Stryker in MK 3
God... I HATE Stryker

When was Shao Khan in MK4?
He wasn't. In Reiko's ending, he put on SK's mask. This caused allot of speculation (and many, many, many posts here) as to whether or not he was SK. Scince then, Ed Boon said he wasn't Shao. I myself believe that Reiko was Tsung, but there are a few holes in that theory, and I don't feel like causing a debate.
