I loved doing a Mercy in MK3 & MKT. Would you guys like the return of Mercies in Deception?

I thought mercies were kool in MK3, but I don't think they should return, it wouldn't fit the atmosphere of deception.

If you are fighting to kill your opponent, then there is no need to show mercy. mortal kombat is about fighting till the death of your opponent.

Yeah, it wouldn't really fit the atmosphere, but I still would like to see them again - maybe only in 2-player?

I always thought that the Mercy was a good idea in theory, but in Deception I would like it to be called something else (Rejuvination or something), but would do the same thing except for it to be performed by the looser.

You could have a choice of this "new" Mercy-type move or the "Hari Kari" upon loosing, but you could only do it once per fight or set it to whatever amount you wanted in the options menu.

The "new" move would bring you back into the fight with a little bit of health.

I fighter who recieves the Mercy gains a little bit of health back, and the fight resumes. The announcer says "Sub Zero (or whoever) has granted MERCY" - Fun if your playing your friends, but a bitch if you grant MERCY and then lose! (It does happen!!)

No, because Mercies were just a ploy in order to activate Animalities. I think its fine the way it is (without Mercy).
