i have a HUGE problem w/ this also and i cant advance :( on the xbox, it says to hit: XYBL. I get the first 3 right but when i hit the last one, it doesnt do anything or change fighting style(s). To initiate the combo, do u press forward on the analog or joystick or just hit the buttons to pull off the combo???????? Im confused and wanna advance on the quest.....

You have to time it just right.
Also, wait till the opponent is done reeling from your previous attempt before starting another try. Sometimes that will keep it from working.

I had alot of troubles with ALL branch combo's before earlier today.The key is concentration.Say your combo is square,triangle,O,L1,square triangle,L1.This is actually a combo I was stuck on for a day.What I did.I concentrated,don't look at the screen,look at the controller.Quickly press square,triangle,O.Then when it comes to L1,treat it no different then say X.It will end up going in easier,then hit square,triangle,then L1 like before.BTW,this is a combo you will do soon.This is my advice,use it,if I hadn't,I would still be training with Sub-Zero in earthrealm.
