some scores are gonna be good, and some are gonna be bad (and average). who cares? you shouldnt care what a game critic has to say. you could have the greatest game in the world, and someone will give it a bad score because they arent a fan of that type of game, or because no one likes their fav game.
just because some yayhoo at a dumb magazine company doesnt like it and gives it a bad score doesnt mean the game sucks.
judge it yourself and not by what others say..cause if you like it, does it matter if someone else doesnt????
get over and, buy the game, enjoy it, then decide for yourself.

Ty. That just like with Tomb Raider Aod, most ppl say it sucked because it got low rating, but half the ppl who say it sucked never even played the game. I thought te game was great and had 1 of the best storys for a game in a while. As for MkD, its gonna be awesome, who cares about 1 score, it only matters what u think.

That's how the press is. Some magazines and sites will give it 9+ and others will probable give it -6, so yeah. I've seen many times IGN, Gamespot or Gamespy, three MAJOR sites; give games I REALLY LIKE scores of 6 or 5, however; others gave it 9. So that means you will always have a wide variety of choices...which one to believe??, in my oppinion none. Just go out and rent the game if you're not sure; but you ALWAYS HAVE TO TRY A GAME OUT TO KNOW IF IT SUCKS OR NOT.
Oh and about TR:AOD, I played everygame in the franchise and I got that one for PC...even though I think it was kinda fun and had a good story, it had just way too many bugs for me.

Most magazines also post scores based on the opinion of how the game has developed since it's prior installment.
For example, there's a lot of added content to MK:D, however, deep down in it's fighting roots, not much has changed. You have new arenas, and interactivity with them, and that's about it, the fighting stayed basically the same.
I'm going to love this game, because I love the MK formula. But some people will give it a low score for the simple fact that it's "more of the same".
