its a known fact that there are more PS2s sold than Xboxes by at LEAST 2 to 1, hence i think PS2 will have a bigger community, why else would Microsoft release their new console next year?? to try to get ahead in the console race, but they ultimately fail cuz usually the systems that come out first, die first...

Xbox has DOA Ultimate also competing.
PS2 has no other online fighters yet.
PS2 has bigger userbase.
I'm getting both, and will play on both. Let you know which has more people in a couple of months...

no GTA:SA will outsell Halo 2 by far...and yes it does matter what sells more video games is a 2 billion dollar industry pal, trust me it matters
