I find it odd that all you're basing Hotaru, Ashrah, and the Dragon King off of is a couple of images and a handful of information.

I have every MK game except Umk3, which was just a cheap upgrade. The AI was horible, so i didn't bother. Anyhow, here's my list:

That's right, no Scorpion. I mean, he's ok and all, but he needs to disappear for a game or two. Sub-Zero's been there too long, too, but he has a great story, so he's forgiven. (other cahracters have been around as long, but for some reason these two bother me more. Dunno why, but maybe it's the hype.)

if you were listening to ed boons interview on deception, he said that he could never make a MK game without subzero and scorpion, so theres the reason why they wont dissapear.

I don't really see how this relates to Mortal Kombat: Deception, other than involving a few of the new characters that will be introduced. This would be more fitting to see in the Classic MK Games Discussion forum, being that it involves characters from all past games as well.
