Can't pick.

BIG kinda brought the noise hard and in your face, as where Pac kinda painted a picture and had some more 'emotions' behind his words. Can't choose tho, nobody should. They are both the best in thier own right.

They both kept it real.

However, tupac basically MADE biggie. Biggie started taking pacs lyrics and such. Biggie screwed around, and got it.

Over time, pac has had awesome records. I like pac better.

Tupac was the GOAT of hip hop, Biggie's good, but how many of today's 'bling bling' rappers would be making records if Tupac was still alive?

After almost 10 years, I going to bring this thread & question back to life.

To me, its always been 2Pac as being better, Biggie was definitely great one of the greatest of all time with only two studio albums made, Ready To Die & Life After Death, but 2Pac is the greatest of all time, no rapper will ever surpass him in terms of popularity or legendary status.

This fine young chap from 2004 is right, they were both great in their own way.

This.

Tupac had an extra level of substance in his lyrics Biggie has never matched. That said, I always liked Biggie's flow better.

Biggie was more lyrical and had incredible flow. His freestyles were dope as shit too.

2Pac had amazing storytelling and was more poetic.

Both are the kings of the coast they repped... Hard to decide...

I guess the only way to answer this is:

I would pick up "Life After Death" before "All Eyez On Me"

And to the guy that said B.I.G stole Pacs lyrics. Show me proof because Biggies lyrics do not resemble Pac in the slightest.
