I liked Southpark before they started to use a pattern... and they pretty much forgot aout 1/2 the characters (Chef included...)
I loved the SP movie..But HATED BASEketball...that movie was just not funny to me...

Comedic genuises, have you seen the Princess the Dog cartoons? Only two episodes were made, but they are damn hilrious.

Orgazmo is hilarious as well!!

I'm not so sure about Matt Stone but Trey Parker is brilliant. He not only writes every episode of South Park and lends his voices to about 75% of the characters, but he also writes and sings all off the songs you hear in the show and the movie.

I've never seen Basketball, or any of their other movies aside from the South Park movie, which in my opinion, was terrible. Even for South Park.

As far as South Park itself goes, well you can probably tell i don't like it. It just isn't funny. At all. Some of the ideas behind the episodes are kind of funny (Building a ladder to heaven, then having the government trying to bomb it for preposterous reasons relating to "weapons of mass destruction"), but the execution is bad, and the toilet humour is dry.

I do like the fact that they use that crappy little show that a lot of people watch, to throw out subtle protests and such though.

I don't really care for anything they do outside of South Park(which now I only watch for Butters and Cartman). Everything else they do is either boring, or just to stupid to be funny. They have a habbit of doing things that leave the audience wondering to laugh or not. And it's not even stuff that's hard to understand, it's just that they take series matters and try and act serious instead of using irony and sarcasm like they used to. As for their new movie its a movie using puppets (kinda like the Thunderbirds tv series). IMO the idea is stupid and they are just trying to hard to be themselves. Don't get me wrong, they still provide a decent amout of laughs on South Park, but they just suck at everything else.

I love sp, but that george bush sitcom... it was just embarassing for the world. Even more than the actual Dubya.

South Park is excellent, cause not only is it offensive, and funny, but it's also smart, and each episode has a point to it.

Team America looks like it's going to be pretty damn funny as well.

I really suggest that if you haven't seen Cannibal The Musical, you see it. It is stupid but to the point where it makes you laugh so hard it hurts. I just think that they are geniuses.
