Acclaim files for bankruptcy
Just thought you guys might find it interesting that Acclaim are being dissolved.
It is because they have had some serious bomb-out games lately and are being sued by Dave Mirra and The Olsen twins.
Well I think it's a shame, such a well known company with many classic games are down the plughole.
Let us know what you think!

That's because their bankrupcy wasn't official when those other threads were made. But their bankrupcy is official now.
R.I.P. Acclaim, one of the greatest gaming companies I have ever known.

Uh, I thought the Mirra lawsuite was settled with out any monetary expenses paid by either side? Funny, Mirra has a deal with acclaim until 2011, lol. The olsen twins? WTF? Well, Acclaim din't pay em, but wtf. It's not like a half a mill is going to mean anything to those former jail-baters. Meh, whatever.
I was looking forward to Dave Mirra 3
. Hope another company picks it up...and doesn't butcher it like acclaim.
