So I'm sure a lot of people know by now that I'm in the US Army and that I'm deployed currently to Afghanistan. I'm just giving a little update once again to show people some interesting stuff. A lot has happened since my last topic and though I can't really talk about a lot of stuff I can show you some pictures of the time spent over here.
Yeah, it's winter time unfortunately over here as well. Afghanistan sucks just as bad in the winter as it does in the summer.
During some pretty intense combat a buddy of mine (whom is a gunner) had an
extremely close call. What that is is a stock from an M240B machine gun. That hole is from a 7.62mm round. He was shooting that weapon when the round hit, luckily he wasn't hurt.
That is shit blowing up.
That is my newly awarded Combat Medical Badge or CMB. I'm happy I finally got it. If you want to know more about the CMB...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combat_Medical_Badge Anyway that's it. It's been really hard for me to keep track of the newest MK since I only have thirty minutes on these dumb computers but I try.
