I saw that show earlier. Interesting, the scientists son, and him say at the end of the program that only 10% of his story is actually told, the rest is clasied. Like I said it's interesting, but they more of less pressent that alien technology more or less helped advance the tehcnology that was already in development. I still think it's kind of BS.

Basically this Lt. Col. says he was responsible for part of going over the crash from Roswell. And basically was allowed to assemble a team of scientists to examine some of the various technology that was recovered. Basically he then took that technology to various military contractors who where working on similar technology to help reverse engineer the technology, and which in turn help lead to rapid advancement in the various technologies that we where already developing. Basically he says that fiber optics, night vision, electric circuitry, bullet proof/kevlar, and lasers are all attributed to the alien technology.

It says that the alien had some kind of metal suit, that couldn't be cut with a knife, and that led to the development of kevlar. Basically they say that the suit was woven around the alien, rather than a suit that could be taken on and off. Another object was some kind of laser device that burned things with the laser. They say that led to the development of lasers. They also pulled some kind of lens from the alien body that allowed it to see at night time. There was also a window in the ship that made it passably to see at night as well. It says that they found some kind of wiring that the transmitted light threw the wires, which led to the advancement of fiber optics. And they also found some kind printed circuitry that controlled the ship that led to the advancement of most of out technology with circuitry cell phones, computers, etc.

On the subject at hand, this is probably true. I mean, who would've gussed that we could carry around a phone that can take pictures, make videos, and all that other crap they do! And there has been signs of life on Mars. Water was discovred to have been there before. And I beleive some bacteria was found in rocks from Mars that hit Earth (not sure though.)

We are not alone. There are other lifeforms out there, intelligent even, but the idea that Aliens travel thousands of light years in stupid tin foil saucer disks just to probe farmers, and then have their alien technology stolen and used to power portable porn machines, REALLY narks my cynicism unit.

Bulletproof vests are made from steel and Kevlar...all things needed to make that can be found here on earth.
