Im a big fan of the movie Anaconda, mainly cause im fascinated by giant snakes... Sony has announced the unpcoming sequeal, which to me looks good...

A lot of people didnt understand that the first Anaconda was about "guardian" snakes from lore protecting an ancient place instead of just some snakes after people... this one takes that perspective and uses it to its advantage... in this one a group of researchers r sent to find a place called the Blood Orchid which could hold the answers to youth and immortality... upon finding it the crew finds that the orchid is inhabited by Anacondas that r made bigger, faster and more aggressave due to the power of the Orchid...

for pics and a trailer check it out here...

I'll admit, Morris Chestnut is no John Voigt, but it still looks pretty cool. The first one had a great cast and they all played good roles, I hope this one continues that. Also I like the fact that there are 'snakes' feeding on this thing, instead of just 'one snake'.

As promised heres the latest update for the new Anacoda movie...

Sony has just released the official site for it... and can be found here... http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/anacondas/index.html
Never seen Anaconda, probably should ...

As for now, I prefer my own little friend. His name is Thor, and he is a Taiwanese Beauty Snake. He'll be about 7 or 8 feet in a few years.

Heh. Never actually saw the movie. Yet when I was living back in my country (Yugoslavia) my mom did the subtitles for it. So i'm sure it's good. wink.
