Cronicles of Riddick isn't that great in my oppinion. The graphics are pretty nice. It's kind of has the look and feel of the mercinaries part of Slinter Cell: Pandora Tommorrow, but not as polished or clear. Also even though it is a first person game, I heard there isn't going to be any multiplayer or online.
Psi-Ops on the other hand is quit good. Pretty unique. The controls and character response is really similar to Midways recently released game The Suffering. The game is pretty polished, and looks pretty good. They basically give you all the abilities when you start off, which it says you won't start off with in the final game, but rather be able to learn them. You can use you telakanesis move to pick up boxs, canister, enimies, etc. and throw them. You can even pull locker doors right off there hinges. You can aslo drain there psi energy to replenish your own after you killed enimies. You can also go into a kind of psi-look when you go into a room. What you doo is it's simalar to the overview of Prince of Persia, but your mind can go searching around the room and scout out the enemies, and you can posses enimies too by doing this(although i haven't figured out how to yet). But all of this does drain you psi meter.
Just thought I'd give my take on the preview builts since both games are comming out really soon Riddick is out next week I believe, and Psi-Ops is out in the next month or so. Just giving a heads up to people. I'll try and post more after I get a better feel for the demos.

The Demo disc was pretty good this month.I may check out Metal Slug 3 when it comes out.Psi-Ops was excellent. On paper it sounds dumb but once you play it you dont want to stop.Riddick was alot better than I thought it would be.The graphics are nice and the enviorment is original. It seems like a Classic too me.

My only gripe with Psi-ops is you don't have much control over you Telikinetic powers. It took me way to long to assemble a bridge out of the wood platforms and breams to cross room with electrcity running through the metal grates. It's even harder to steady yourself on something while your using your telikentic power to hover on it.

Your supposed to jump on the rails on the side of that level.Im sure some of that stuff will get worked out when the game comes out.

You're both right, yet you're both wrong about the bridge! That's what is great about this game, you have to think and figure out one of the many ways to get through the puzzles in this game. And, this is the demo, (which i have not played) but it is old compared to what will be the actual release.
and kabal... mind control is the term you were looking for!
