Hmm, find a book on spelling and grammar. And since it was made by Capcom it is a real Resident Evil Game. As for playing it, I know better. Every game in the series is a patch to the others, it's the 'Windows' of storylines.
Ah well, nice to know to not waste my time.

i like ALL re series, and i'm so happy about resident evil outbreak, the graphics belong to the best on a ps2, they have the coolest and most uniqe characters(david kicks ass!), and all the levels are different. i have nothing against the controls, since past re games had the exact same and the story levels and best yet online multiplayer makes this the best re game to date. if there's a game u want to critisize, talk about the remake(only re 1 coz re 0 isn't a real remake) on the gamecube
I love RE:Outbreak except for one, little, small, minute thing which REALLY irks me: WHERE THE HELL IS THE CHAT SUPPORT!!!! It got really hard for my buddie (in Texas) and me (in OK) to get through the game together since "you go upstairs, while I go check out the rooms down the hall and we'll meet back here in two minutes to decide what to do next" isn't programmed in the automatic choices with such great and clear examples as "Help" and "Come".... that little quibble aside, I also LOVED the RE(make) for Gamecube. It's arguably the best RE out there (even if it is unoriginal), but, yes, RE4 will blow them all away (and not just the RE series, but most games in general.) January can't get here soon enough. Fatality.

yes, i admit re remake for the gamecube was very good and belongs to the best, but there are a lot of stuff in there u can critisize

I feel that the horror games are played out like resident evil and silent hill. They get boring after awhile with no replay value how many damn zombies can you kill.I rather shoot normal humans in games thats alot more fun.

NO REPLAY VALUE!? dude, have u ever played re, u unlock a ton of bonuses when u play the game again and again. u start in easy, then u go to hard, u unock a rocket launcher, ulock a new scenario. tons of mini games! re has one of the highest replay values i've seen in a game so far

Well, there's a lot in the entire genre you can criticize. The survival-horror genre isn't necessarily the most accessible game genre out there, but every game has its faults. Utterly frustrating control schemes, cheesy dialogue, mindless puzzles, and item management come to mind. Fatality.

you also gotta know, that not all horror survival's have those critisms. re remake has almost all in still a great game. ofcourse every genre has it's critics like rpg, beat em ups and so on. as an example i'll show u ego shooter: same opponents, ai sucks, weapon change to slow, too few weapons, same levels, too few multiplayer maps/modes, no multiplayer and so on and on, but not all ego shooters have that. like perfect dark, the game was almost perfect, while *i forget the name, but it had something to do with ur ship gettin attacked by aliens and so* had all of those critic points and is one of the worst ego shooters so far.
BRUTALITY!

I love all RE too, but about the characters in REO, I find that the curve of coolness is very linear, like 70% of people probably think that Kevin is the best and Jim is the crappiest.

Never. RE Outbreak is a grand game indeed. I'll admit it's not perfect. But What's there is an excellent game. Tons of replay value excellent gameplay. Lots of charcters to play and master and cool weapons (david's spear rocks)!!The voice chat does need work. However if you have experienced players on your team ,things will work out fine. File 2 is going to rock even harder I can't wait.

There's only one thing I didn't like about the game the long loading

I love the RE main series, but I find myself hating or disliking every time there's a side project made (Outbreak, Survivor, the movies)...
When I first heard there was going to be an RE online game I loved the idea because (at first) it promised voice chat, no more enter the door loading screens, a smooth multiplayer experience and the return to Racoon City.
Well it came through with one of those promises, that being the return to RC. The voice chat was taken away, and replaced with really annoying basic commands. Istead of getting rid of the opening a door loading screen the door no longer was there, but the loading time became 10xs longer which disrupts the mood a lot. With the Gamecube titles they proved that the old control system could be smoothed out and more fluid, but with the return to the PS2 came the return of the whole "stop, turn. go" movement that is ever previlent in the older titles. finally the whole multiplayer aspect was killed because:
A) They took out the voice chat and replaced it with really annoying voices.
B) Real time menu item trade system (which left everyone prone to attack
C) Snail paced loading screens
D) The hit or miss controls
E) The RE camera angles (I never minded them during a single player game, but in a multiplayer environment it became disorenting).
In my book Resident Evil: Outbreak gets a 4.5 out of 10. The games are at their best in the 'Cube exclusives and shouldn't ever venture out of that again.
