If they're offering you money for doing almost nothing, chances are virtually a certainty that it's some kind of scam. You won't get "payed" and you won't be able to do anything about it because the authorities will think you're retarded.

Feel your pain, dude. I just had to declare bankruptcy.

So...if there was an easy way to make money, you can bet I'd be doing it.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, I've been teaching myself new skills to try and prepare myself in the event I lose my own job (stack of programming books about two feet high on the floor next to me). You can get paid to take surveys, type up and send spammy e-mails, advertise porn sites, data entry, etc. The problem is, the money is shit, and you'll be competing for your wages with slave/farm labor from China, India, etc. I think your time would be better-spent looking for a local job, even a low-paying one.

Don't listen to the previous poster. It works. I do it. It's not illegal. [edit] not meaning Foah. :P [/edit]

They pay via paypal if they are legitimate, anywhere from $5 to up to $20 depending on the company wanting information and how long it takes to complete.

Usually you are awarded "points" for each successful survey you do for them and later when you have accumulated enough points you cash them in for a payment or voucher for something online, say a gift card for mp3's or various stores online that participate.

You need to do them often, though to be offered new ones. And if you work in the food industry or the like, odds are you won't be applicable for certain surveys.

For some, they'll "pay" you with money points you can use to purchase highly expensive products, which you will have to pay taxes on.

Other will pay you about 50 cents per survey, and you'll have to pay taxes on that, too. Mostly likely more than they're paying you.

You'll be better off being a food taster.
