I've been watching longplays of old adventures games like games from Sierra On-Line, Lucasarts, etc...

Anyone here play the new games of this genre like Back to the Future and The Walking Dead from Telltale Games?

I liked Sierra On-Line mostly because if you derped in a bad way in a game, you'd die and the narrator would be sarcastic towards you. Some of them were really out there like dying of embarrassment in Police Quest 3 and others...

I definitely remember the old Sierra PC games (Kings Quest especially). As well as the Black Cauldron the game (totally underrated cartoon movie).

More current though, I'm a huge fan of the Walking Dead Telltale games. Looking forward to the next episode for season 2!

I play on PS3 so they're isnt much in the Genre these days.

I've played and enjoyed the following

Back to the Future
The Walking Dead
The Testament of Sherlock Holmes

I've played, but didn't enjoy:
NCIS
CSI: Fatal Conspiracy

Out of all I probably enjoyed TWD the most, but I waited for retail I HATE the episodic format, so I'l be waiting a while for TWD2, Fables, Game of Thrones and Borderlands.

I think I might pick up "The Raven" soon, any recommendations for PS3?
