From the bits I have read about the series, its plot is said to have slown down drastically after Assassin's Creed III. I wonder if that's true.

I was a pretty big fan, but I haven't even got around to playing 4 yet.

I must say Unity looks nice, It'l be fun getting to climb interesting architecture again after AC3's red brick houses.

There's at least one positive thing in a story that proceeds slowly; it's easier to jump in even after having missed a few installations.
