Avenged Sevenfold and Bad Religion.

I am curious as to whom on this board likes either of these bands, and be specific as to why if you can. I like both of them for differing reasons. Bad Religion makes some of the most thought provoking punk I've heard wheras Avenged Sevenfold has (in my opinion) the greatest vocals from a metal/hardcore frontman in the history of the ever. It's also alright if you dont like them but I'd prefer if you'd inform us as to why.

i dont like avengend sevenfold but man bad religion kicks ass. one of the few actual punk bands still around. there lyrics is what makes them punk. bands like blink 182, good charlote, simple plan, hoobastank, and many more that you hear on mtv are not punk is about pissed of rockers that have something to say not sing about love and how there heartbroken. bad religion has kool fast songs and one of the few punk bands that are great.

to bad there really not mainstream because they would beat the living hell out of the wanna ne punk bands and the emo bands.

favorite song probaly punk rock song, conquer the world, los angles is burning, 21st century digital boy, big bang, you, infected, and american jesus.

I really like A7X's last album. It's pretty good. Can't wait to see what they do next.

Bad Religion? Bleh. Never like punk bands.

Yes. I love both Bad Religion and Avenged Sevenfold. Bad Religion is by far one of the most intelligent punk bands in history. Their lyrics and views have had a big impact on much opf my own personal philosophy. I have Suffer, No Control, All Ages (a best-of CD), and Process of Belief. The first three are awesome, but Process of Belief isn't that great.

As for Avenged Sevenfold, I have their latest CD, it kicks ass. Great melodies, great lyrics, great music.
