Baman Piderman!
Has anyone else fallen in love with this web series? Because I have!
For those who think I've had some sort of stroke, I assure you that Baman Piderman is an actual youtube series. It revolves around two rubbery monsters named Baman and Piderman who remotely resemble their DC and Marvel namesakes. They exist in a realm with no real physical bindings and have peculiar, mundane, and absurd adventures along with their friend Pumkin, Baman's girlfriend Tuba, their frenemy Squib, and two monsters that live in Piderman's basement known as "That Guy" and "The Other guy". From making a band, to going on "Da Journey!" Baman Piderman, at its core, has evolved into a series full of heartwarming and sweet moments. Through all the absurdity, it's easy to see the shear love that permeates throughout the show. I assure you that once you make it to the more recent episodes, the beautiful and sweet nature of this series will melt your heart.
There are currently 19 episodes of Baman Piderman
Here's an episode called Watch Da Marathon it's really just the first 13 episodes compiled into one episode. Now, the show began sort of strangely, and really starts to take shape around episode 5 "Pwactice da Counting."
If you enjoyed that, here is episode 14- Play Da Song. It takes place after the last episode in "Watch Da Marathon."
From "Play Da Song" you should be lead to each following episode up to episode 19 which was released earlier this week.
So, does anyone else love this weird series?

I like Squib (not the red one, fuck that one)
I find it interesting that they have left Red Squib in the series. I wonder if it will be expanded as a character or will just be the Basement Guy's version of squib.coltess Wrote:

I watched Ghost Night the other day.
It was super sweet. I was mad that Tuba wasn't in it, though.

Pumkin's kind of interesting, and I can't wait to see more of Ghost. Wow, I can't believe I like this.
There is no shame in it Jerrod! Just love...Pumkin's kind of interesting, and I can't wait to see more of Ghost. Wow, I can't believe I like this.
No shame at all! I didn't want to click on this thread because I honestly thought it was going to be a parody of a debate over who was cooler; Batman or Spider-man. But I'm glad I did anyway because it introduced me to one of the funniest cartoons I've seen in a long long time.
I'm surprised at the amount of originality in this show. I actually think the only thing this show borrows is the design for Baman and Piderman, but they still seem more like completely original characters than parodies. In fact, if I had no idea who Batman or Spider-man were, I would still like this show just as much.

I know what you mean. The evolution and character development of this show is simply amazing. I think the couple that does this really should write for children's TV.coltess Wrote:

I think one of them used to work on "Word Girl." But to be honest, I'd much rather see more Baman Piderman than a kid's show. I feel like there would just be too many rules that they'd have to follow. You can see the fun that they put into each episode, and if other people are telling them what to do, it might not turn out as good.

I see where you're coming from. The peculiar, nonsensical nature of this show is what makes it so wonderful. Any restrictions at all would just ruin it.I think one of them used to work on "Word Girl." But to be honest, I'd much rather see more Baman Piderman than a kid's show. Baman Piderman kickstarter!
Honestly, this is the first kickstarter I've ever given money to - possibly the last- and I'm proud it was Baman Piderman.
