Lately I have been craving knowledge for some unknown reason. I've started trying to learn the guitar and am reading a Texas history book. In high school this would have bored me to death but now I find it interesting. And now I want to learn Spanish due partly because the Texas population of Hispanics is the majority and partly for my love of Hispanic women. I know a little bit but I want to learn a lot. I've heard of two very different but reasonable methods of learning a different language. The Pimsleur approach and Rosetta Stone. Have any of y'all ever used these methods and if so did you like it? Was it effective?

This. It teaches you how to take it in a very formal manner though

Thanks. I heard that it would help if you did both but seeing as how they are so expensive I'll just do Rosetta Stone
