It seems sort of early to start talking about a game that won't be out until October (that's not MK or INJUSTICE), but holy brown goblin mail is this awesome!

This trailer debuted today...er...yesterday (It's 4AM) at the Tribeca Film Festival to much acclaim.

This game comes from the makers of Heavy Rain, a game I absolutely adored! This game seems to have tackled the singular criticism of Heavy Rain in having professional American actors filling in the roles with what sounds like better flowing dialogue. Heavy Rain, though still having some great dialogue, suffered on occasion by having peculiar French-to-English translated dialogue that didn't sound quite right with two of the main cast being Englishmen who don't have the best American accent (Lookin at you Ethan and "NAWMAN"). Sam Douglas was superb as Scott Shelby, though. I think he may have cleaned up the dialogue a bit.

ANYWHO, this game seems to fix that problem with actress Ellen Page (Juno) and WILLEM DAFOE (Boondock Saints) ! I'm gonna say that again- WILLEM DAFOE!

I am really excited about this guys, I really am. Partially because I think this might be the one- the one that justifies video games to the rest of the world that they aren't simply toys but another art form. This trailer played at the Tribeca Film Festival and the game was recognized as an Official Selection by the Tribeca Film Festival for its impact on the Future of Film. I'm probably going a little overboard here, but we're seeing more and more of this these days with real stars taking on roles in games, but enough about that.
