What are you looking forward on seeing?

For me it's Hearthstone, their new Warcraft card game. From what I've seen of it already, I'm definitely interested in getting it for my mini iPad, looks really fun! (Hopefully I have enough room, might have to get ride of a few things for it)

I'm also looking forward to what the new expansion for World of Warcraft might be about. Speculations are running wild about the return of the Burning Legion, which the Burning Crusade expansion was my favorite one out of the bunch. The return of Illidan is also causing a stir because there were some members on the Blizzard team talking about bringing him back.

There's also a lot of unfinished stories that we could see come into action. Any that you would like to see?

What about Diablo fans? The Crusader class is already looking sa-weet for me and I definitely started to make some of my fictional characters become Crusaders just because something about black and white armor looks badass for a priest-like fighter. We have a new chapter to the story with the Angel of Death coming into play, a new area, tons of goodies coming forth... So yeah.

Sadly, I don't have that much to say about Starcraft, why? Well, for some reason, I never got into it. I don't know why, as I do love anything that's themed in outer space. I'm sure they'll have something about this game, whether it's about some new stuff or the old.

Anything else you're looking forward to that isn't covered here?

Ciao.

Looking forward to a lot of stuff from Blizzcon. The next WoW expansion is up in the air because of the two different trademarks licensed, one being "Heroes of the Storm" the other being "The Dark Below". So after that, I think the expansion might be more island or sea focused, dealing with the naga and Queen Azshara.

Diablo III: Reaper of souls looks like it'll be fixing a lot of problems the old hardcore faithful had with the original release. We get to go to Westmarch. We get the level 70 cap. The Crusader looks cool, they basically brought back the Paladin from D2.

Hearthstone? I've been in the beta since it started. So I've had my fun with it. Looking forward to playing more and seeing what happens with their new card game.

Regarding StarCraft II, I think this is the expansion a lot of the more story focused people have been waiting for. Legacy of the Void is going to tie up this whole Xel'Naga arc, people want to see what Blizzard do the single player format with the Protoss. Will they stick to what they did with the first two games? Will they try something different? It will be fun to see.

Interested to see if they'll show concept footage WarCraft since it'll be starting principle photography in January.

As much as I enjoyed the naga story and that whole undersea part, I really can't see it being the main focus of an expansion.

After the recent merge between Blizzard and Activision, I predict a CoD: Ghosts DLC announcement, LoL expansion or something like that, and probably another Activision MARVEL comics game.

Never said I would be happy about it.

I strongly doubt that they'll announce something about those games during this.

And if so, oh well. smile

Bard class for a "support class" in World of Warcraft? I'm up for it.

I was thinking, since I play one in Dungeons and Dragons, a Bard would fit into this game nicely.

So here's what they would have:

Their talents would be: Guitar Playing Woodwind Playing and Poetry/Singing

The guitar I would imagine being a healing spec
The woodwind would be more of a spell caster (or summoning spells)
The poetry/singing would be more of a buff caster

Healing wouldn't be as heavy as a priest or a druid, but they would do some pretty nifty healing on the side.

Summoning spells would be like summoning a swarm of rats/bats/spiders to attack a near by enemy. You could also duplicate yourself to confuse enemies, scare them away or silence them, but not so in a way where we'd be duplicating priest spells. However, every spell casted would have to have your character remain concentrated. You can't just summon and cast, your character will be playing their instrument and staying there until you cancel your attack by doing whatever.

Buffs would help out raids and heroics by having your bard put down focus buffs or help improve on the buffs that are already casted out, but have it where it doubles the stats and such. Also, your character would also have abilities that would have them remain concentrated as well.

My brother suggested to me that they should wear mail, but I can't really see them wearing mail armor. I see them as cloth and leather wearers, however, there's too many classes that has that already... I don't know what they would wear, but I would imagine leather since that's what Bards wear in D&D.

The races that would be available to play are:

Horde
Blood Elves, Orcs, Goblins, Undead
Alliance
Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, Night Elves.

I cannot see a Tauren playing the flute, nor do I see a wolf singing a song. Sorry, but I really don't see it.

If you have any other suggestions as to what a Bard could do, or if you have something else, feel free to jot it down.
