Pop culture is a beast. It chews people up and spits them out onto a busy obscurity highway, only to transform said people *or characters* from idolized legend to overexposed roadkill.
An example could be, say, Carmen Sandiego. As far as I know, she stood at the height of the ficticious criminal chasing phase. The woman had insanely popular games and an iconic kid's game show. Yet unlike Waldo, who also had a knack for disappearing from those searching for him, Carmen just went away without a trace. People no longer looked for her, nor cared what atrocious crimes she committed in her absence. Genocide? maybe.
I would love for the world to embrace this psychopathic thief again. Introduce her to a new generation of meddling kids who love geography.

Thoughts? Who would you return to the spotlight?

While I love Darkwing, I can't honestly say he has icon status. I must reward a resurrection to

Now, this comes with some requirements. I think it should be a movie and not a series; series are corruptible over time, movies are one shot Unfortunately, Alan Young is very old now- to be scrooge for a feature length, I'm sure, would be too much for him. I say the root the 2011 Winnie the Pooh film took would be best. Pooh had it's problems; a mediocre story and opening against the last Harry Potter, but animation-wise and voice-acting wise it was spectacular.

Craig Ferguson was Owl....maybe Scrooge?

I've always wanted Angelina Jolie to play her in a film.

That seems like it would be pretty neat. If not her, I could always go for Roselyn Sanchez.
