Can someone tell me if the Nintendo wii will be able to play classic N64 games??

Just wondering if games like goldeneye 007 and Mario kart 64 will be playable. Thanks in advance..

From what I've heard YES.It is possible to "Buy " N64,NES,and even SNES
games of old.I heard this from Nintendo Power.

You can't play N64 game cartridges directly on the Wii, but you will be able to purchase them threw Nintendo's online service and save them to a SD card along with NES, and SNES games. Gamecube games will be directly playable though the Wii though. I think the breakdown of cost is something like $5 for NES games, $8 for SNES games, and $10 for N64 games.
