I got it yesterday and was very pleased that it was more like the original films in terms of horror. It had great camera angles decent gore.

It even explained more about Charles Lee Ray's past. I liked it more than Child's Play 3, Bride Of Chucky, Seed Of Chucky. There was some sweet cameos to.

My favorite to least favorite in the franchise.

Child's Play
Child's Play 2
Curse Of Chucky
Child's Play 3
Bride Of Chucky
Seed Of Chucky

There's a good chance of more films to come. Fiona Dourif did an fantastic job. If you watch the unrated version you get bit more gore and the scene after the credits. if you watch the rated r version theres a little less gore and no footage after the credits.

So what did you think of the film if you seen it. Are you going to watch it. Do you even like the series. Discuss.

Well I have to admit that originally I wasn't going to watch this. Figured that if it was a straight to DVD release that it was going to suck real bad. However, my sister had ordered it off XBox video and wanted me to watch it with her. I decided "what the hell?" and sat down.

I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't bad at all. It was easily better than the last few of the series. I was also pleased that they had brought Brad back to voice Chucky... really don't think anyone else could work.

My favorite part happened in the uncut version though...

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
When Chucky is delivered to Andy. It was awesome to see them use the original actor all grown up to play the cameo. And the scene itself was priceless. "...Andy?!" "Play with this..." BLAM!

Maybe we might get a few more movies out of this series now. If they're all going to be on par with this one,... I certainly wouldn't mind.

I thought it was awesome. Certainly one of the best films to go straight to DVD.

I rented it yesterday and am probably going to watch it one more time before bringing it back later today.
