watched the darkstalkers cgi video on fightersgeneration.com and it makes me believe that darkstalkers 4 has been in the works or is just now in the works. lord raptor looked boss in that trailer. i'm almost 100% that trailer had nothing to do with the darkstalkers resurrection which is a hd port of ds3 and night warriors.

Though I'm glad the port is happening, I probably won't be purchasing this. There are too many fighting games out right now, this would probably just collect dust next to my digital copy of Third Strike.

This may inspire hope for a sequel, but I still think we're not going to see Darkstalkers 4 any earlier than 2014. The joystiq interview with Derek Neal pretty much implied it's not in development right now. You may say, "of course it's in development! They're just toying with the fans!" Whatever. I think Capcom is still trying to compose itself after the SFxT nightmare.

And Ono as producer? I don't know. I don't hate the guy as much as the crowd, but I don't care for his design philosophy. SF4, all things considered, is solid. I think some of the option selects are ridiculous, but it's probably the most balanced fighting game out right now.

I've always liked DarkStalkers more than Street Fighter when it came to characters and the general ridiculousness. It's a bunch of monsters we've seen in movies and read about in fiction with an anime make over and crazy attacks. The aesthetic is what really attracted me to the series, and I'd like to see it return some day with a 4 on the end of that title.

2 Words! Demitri Maximoff. I can't wait to get back into this game. He's my character and glad to see this game coming back. Looking forward to Jedah Dohma as well!

My favorite Darkstalkers characters happen to all be females (like most fans, I'm sure), my #1 being Hsien-Ko, followed by Morrigan and Q-Bee.

I'd love to see a scarecrow in Darkstalkers, it would be amazing to see its abilities. I'd also love to see:

Favorite character in DarkStalkers was Talbain. His Dragon Cannon is awesome. Felicia is also a good pick for me.

i always thought of anakaris as the anubis type of character.

mine are the 1 with the train that has it's mouth moving.
