That game was cool, I rented it because I heard from someone on the Ninja Gaiden thread that Ryu Hayabusa was in it, I got it and was really impressed by the graphics and gameplay (really enjoyed knocking those dudes off of buildings). But I was trying to find a way to unlock genra omega (the fire dude) and that's when the thunder storm started last night, I felt vibration beneath my feet and a huge branch nearly fell on my Dad's new company truck. My X-box went off and all the power in my house did too, then the power came back on but my X-box stayed off, I got up to turn it off and turn it back on but the power would not come back on. The game was good and all, I want to hear everybody's theories on what else the game had in store for me, so you can post anything you want to that relates to Dead or Alive 3 on this thread.

Man you are late this game came out like the day Xbox came out, jk. I actually bought this game like 2 months ago because i got an Xbox in January. Still DOA3 is AWSOME the graphics are UNBELIEVEABLE, this game is tons of fun especially tag team mode. But it really doesn't have any real secrets only the ending FMVs and costumes. But all in all DOA3 is still a fun game to play.

Dead Or Alive 3 is one of my favorite fighting games. The graphics are awesome. The characters look great too. I also enjoyed the gameplay very much. I really liked the fast paced fighting. I do think that the final boss was a little too easy though. Great game though.

The final boss was TOO easy!!! he was easier than any other character that you have to fight. Hey, can somebody post a picture of Ein on here so that I can see what he looks like? Thanks.

Check takermk's avatar, it shows him there, as he already stated

The best character in the game is Brad Wong. His style is so fluent that I can link some sick combos while driving my friends crazy with his stance. I also liked Bayman and Leon since they were so powerful and excellent in grappling.

So Ein is the ONLY character, right? And if he is the only SECRET character then what is so special about him? is he super fast or immortal or something?

Actually Ein is a different vrsion of Hayate. The story goes that he's a genetically inhanced shinobi who was part of Project Epsilon which Helenas father, the president of DOATEC was head of. His moves are different then Hayates so don't be too surprised when you use him.

YUP! Hitomi is awesome. I have been looking for that booster disc to download more outfits for each characters. There were many demo discs along time ago that had them. Im going to have to check on Ebay. THe cheapest character is Jann Lee. My brother always uses that cheap combo and most of the time beats me.

I never knew why people were so impressed with the graphics? They're not that detailed, and most of them deal with very smooth large surfaces that are one color base, so that it's not that hard to create. It still looks nice atleast, and is very fun! I love fluid fighting engines with lots of action, and pick up and play feel to them, a thing that a very popular fighting series is starting to forget about...*cough*MK:Deadly Alliance*cough*. Innocent fun

Dude! That sux! Soryy man, but yeah, sorry to burst your bubble you were kinda wasting your time trying to unlock Omega... He isn't playable. But otherwise it was a really awesome game. Great ending movies and gameplay and such.

oh, I'm sorry to bust your Big Old Fat Ass Bubble too, but Omega IS playable. Use a GameShark or Action Replay and he is playable, whenever you pick somebody it will be him instead of the fighter you picked. Omega IS pretty lame though, and his moves are not affective the least bit. My favorite character is Ryu hayabusa because he kicked ass in Ninja Gaiden and he kicked ass in this game too.

I don't want to dis MK or you Needlesnake, but I have both MKDA and DOA3 currently and IMO DOA3 kicks the shit out of MKDA. Don't get me wrong I LOVE mk i've been playing MK since I was 8 years old, but the sad truth is that DOA3 is a much better fighter overall. MKDA cannot even be compared to DOA3 in the graphics department because the graphics on DA were kind of crappy not to mention the glitches found in the game. DOA3 is a much faster fighting game than DA and unfortunately DOA3 is actually fun to play after you beat the game and all, but DA gets you bored beacuase it is just so damn SLOW! I still give MK credit for its originality in story line and characters because no other fighting game has these unique features, but in the end storyline is something that goes flying out the window. The gameplay is what really matters, and DOA3's gameplay simply kicked ass. And I'm hoping that Deception will be a quicker fighting game than DA (which it looks like its going to be) and be a much better game overall because I'm eagerly waiting for October when MK Deception will change the world (hopefully).

Brad Wong doesrock though... I use him when I play... damn dude I need to buy it, its like what seventeen dollars now... I mean I guess I can even get it for like fifteen with my EB card thingy.... this is a very good fighting game, its the only good hand to hand one I've played... how does it compare to Virtua Fighter 4:Evolution and Tekken 4, because I've heard those are a lot more deep than DOA3... later

Well, I love all of those games... I guess the best way to describe the difference between them is like this in car terms...
DOA would be like a sports car, very fast, fun, and flashy. You have a little bit of versatility in what you can do.
Tekken would be like a mid-size SUV. You can do a lot with it, and you can have fun driving it.
Virtua Fighter would be like a Hummer. You could practically climb Mt. Everest with the damn thing and look good doing it. It may not be as fast as the sports car but you can do a lot more with it.
lol, I don't know if those are good comparisons but meh. It's the best I could do.

Brad Wong is just someone who can drive others crazy, and his style is combo freindly. He's so much fun to play with, and he has the longest set of moves out of any other character.

Whoo!!! Hoooo!!!! Yep, thats right. I just got a brand new X-box today and I got to keep the other controller and only turn in the X-box system itself. (Yaaaaa, now I have two controllers!!!) Right whenever I got home I had to beat the game to where I had it in story mode last time because I had a new memory, I finished all the other characters and went to time attack got ranked with hayate and entered my nickname as Ein, unlocked Ein and he is tight (really like the duster coat). I got a new X-box and all my other game memory had been wiped from it too!!! oh well, that just let's me have all the fun all over again.
yeah you'll all definitly want the booster disc. more costumes and it loads a sweet ass fmv intro for everytime you start doa3.
my only complaint about the game are the counters. if you could counter counters, i think it would be a lot better. i hear doau will have them but i don't know for sure.

Have any of you played "Bloody Roar Extreme" for x-box? If so is it worth the 20 dollars?

I think so, but it is just a port of a GC game that is FAR superior.
