does any1 remember a show called gladiator?

it was a show were people competed in different events like they fought with poles (plastic) n stuff from a high place and the aim was to knock the opponent off and they would win

or another event was they were to race againts an opponent through many obsticals to be victorious

anyway i was thinking this idea would be great for vince to pick up and create another show (hed have to buy the rights) and then they can have wrestlers from raw & smackdown brands compete in this show hey why not even do a deal with tna impact and compete with their stars

also they should have the wrestlers entrances and they can make that wreslters can compete in that for the world heavy weight champ or the u.s champ

what u guys think?

also the show was called gladiator i dont know weather it is still on but i loved it

Yeah, I remember it. But that was a long time ago, so it's barely hanging on to the edge of my memory. Can't recall much of it.

I remember that. It was actually called Gladiators (plural). One of the P.E. teachers from my school went on it once, and lost because he fucked up on the handrail bit on the final obstacle race thing. It was fun for all.

Isn't it called American Gladiators in the US?

Yes indeedy. At the height of it's popularity, the 'Gladiators' on the show were quit popular. People knew them by name, like Nitro, Icesis, etc.

Wasn't a bad show, I like when they had to dodge the tennisballs, but all the events were pretty cool.

It went 'out' of style as fast as it came 'in' however, tho I wouldn't be surprised if it was still on in timeslot Hell.
