Does anyone have FFXI & the HDD for PS2? Is it worth getting? I'm not really into the whole Idea of FFXI and MMORPG in general, more kind of big into buying pherpherals for my systems to improve them. Like the memory add on for N64, and the DVD playback kits for both PS2 & Xbox. IGN has reported that it updates the DVD playback kit version. But is the HDD and network adapter worth getting now? or should I just wait? I really don't have any games to play online yet for PS2, but I am looking into RE:Outbreak, and Syphon Filter. There was a post a week or so ago arguing that it's supposed to speed load times? Does any who has it noticed any improvement in there current games that aren't online enabled; if there loading any faster if even slightly?

Just kind of boarded and looking for video games to buy. Maybe Splinter Cell:PT, Yu-Gi-Oh: DoD (Xbox), Time Crisis 2 &/or 3, Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid:ZM, Mario Kart: DD, and/or Mario and Luigi: SSS for the Legend of Zelda Collectors disk if Nintendo is still offering it.

Only games that are programmed to take advantage of the HDD can have improved loading.

You also apparently HAVE to have the network adapter to use the HDD.
