The brand new gameplay trailer for Doom featuring a sneak peak at the BFG.

I wanted to be excited but the stuff they showed was very disappointing.

The guy introducing it said something along the lines of "DOOM is all about killing demons, big effin' guns, and going fast" and then proceeded to show a guy walking slowly through setpieces and performing cinematic kill moves. Not a good first impression at all.

I'm already peeing my pants, and I haven't even watched it yet.

They walk them slow because otherwise you cannot show off the capabilities of the engine. Fast play reqwuires motion blurr somehow.

Stumpy Cyberdemon is stumpy.

I am strangely excited for this, and I'm not really sure why.

Thank God for Wad's. I'll miss the classic feel.
