Doom 3: Official Release Date and/or most logilcal

Does anyone know the official release date? When do you think it's most likely to be released, and will you buy it? I for one have already pre-ordered myself a copy, but EB says "June"*even though the box says 4/16/04*. Lastly Gamespot got unofficial info on an April release which I pray for! wow

Since my computer is so crappy it can't run Quake II without hiccuping, I'm going to grab the Xbox port which according to the guy who works at Gamestop will be sometime in August.

btw, I love your name. It's good to have a Twisted Metal fan on the board.

From what I heard they always put the excuse "When we get it done".

Quirk, i' m a Twisted Metal fan as well. Although I wish I knew when are they going to come out with a new one. =/.

I played Alpha 2. Should be an alright game, although it just reminds me of regular DOOM with updated graphics. There is no official release date for DOOM3. Also, don't believe anyone's release dates except for one put out by id or the publisher of the game. Everything else is just speculation.
