I go the Archie Comics route. Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik. I think Sega more or less adopted that as his full name like how Capcom adopted Charlie Nash.

But if I had to pick, then Robotnik with ease. Particularly this one:

I hated how stupid the name "Eggman" was. At least Robotnik sounds cold and evil.

It actually means - worker in Polish.

Also if you look in the scenery on Wing Fortress Zone you can see the word Eggman in tiny lettering.

Sorry I'm a Sonic fan. Poor little blue guy.
