I own a DreamCast and just recently did I go through my closet and had the urge to play it once more. I ended up playing MK: Gold and I must say I cannot get my hands off that controler. Who here loves Dreamcast? Personally, I LOVE DREAMCAST AND IT WAS THE BEST SYSTEM MADE.

I liked it too.
Too bad I bought it after it died. sad

But I have loads of games for it though.
It's a nice system, but It's not my no.1.

My no.1 stays the SNES. smile
GBA second.

I never owned a DC, but I borrowed a friends a few times.

I used to like the DC controller until Street Fighter 3 came out. I destroyed my left thumb with that game. It didn't matter whether I used the D-pad or the analog, both hurt after a while; especially the D-pad(I like using the D-pad in fighting games) due to it's sharp corners. Other than that, the DC was alright at best.

I loves me muh Dreamcast
Yeah, the Dreamcast was cool. It had pretty good graphics and the memory card with the little screen was a great idea.

actually, Sony first had that idea for the first playstation... it wasn't as cool tho, and didn't fare nearly as well

but yes, the DC had lots of innovation for hardware, and tons of cool games that were actually fun

too bad they gave most of them to Xbox instead of my dear old PS2

The DC is simply increadible. Great design, great developers, great architecture. It is a "gamers" game system. It wasn't for fanboys. Which is too damn bad, because that's what the rest of the industry caters to.

DC > everything else

My Dreamcast gets more playtime than my X-box and PS2 still...that should speak volumes.

It's the tons of great fighting games that came out for it that keeps it from ever being sold, lots of other great games as well.
Plus the whole makeshift web-browser that it is too.
If I'm travelling, I can take my DC with me and still be able to hop on the internet, check my email, browse sites, and hop into the chatroom in a pinch. smile

And the Homebrew scene where people are making apps for it for free, like Divx players and MP3 players and Homebrew games too. Not to mention the emulation scene.

I was just a little disappointed that The Grid which was originally intended to be released on Dreamcast with online play, got nixed. sad
