Every once in awhile a game like Breakdown comes around and makes gaming alot better.Breakdown is a game thats hard to explain it's a FPS(First Person Shooter),and FPF(First Person Fighter).You experince everything in First Person from the cutscenes to First Person Throw up(more about that later.)I dont know too much about the story since the demo I played started off while Derrick(The Lead Charcter) was in acoma.The Doctors are telling you to wake up you're are only chance.After that scene you wake laying in a bed.Then out of nowhere a girl named Alex appears out of some portal.She walks up to you while laying in bed and says something really weird.Remember you just woke up out of acoma so your not 100% health.Then she dissapears and appears on the other side of the room.She bends down and does a super jump out of the roof knocking over some equipment in your room.

When you look up to your right there is a glass window where you see a doctor saying "That was worth 50 grand are you feeling better?".Derrick then gets up and from there you controll what you see and do.Your first mission is training where you learn how to fight,shoot,climb,and open doors.After your done with training the doctor will tell "Good Job,Your lunch is waiting for you in your room.

You go back to your room and there is some coca-cola on a lunch tray with a cheese burger.You drink the coke then you take a few bites out of your hamburger.Then Derrick starts grabbing his throat and passes out.You wake up to gun shots there are soldiers in the hospital shooting and searching for something.After this I dont know what happens since the demo is timed.The faster you complete your training time the more things you will see later.Or you can select the level you want be on.The Fighting in the game is pretty good although there are only a few moves to choose from in the demo.From what I hear the full version will have tons of moves to use.The shooting is just like any other FPS out there the only diffrence is that you have to load up the gun manually.Meaning once you run out of bullets you have to find a clip and load it by hitting 'X'.It's cool game im addicted to it I was kinda skeptical about it at first but turns out it's alot better than I thought.Im going to buy it when it comes out in April.The demo is on OXM's April demo disk.
