I agree 100% with you. I read the last couple of posts and understand exactly why that thread was closed.
This time I hope we can be smart about posting in here and not get it closed. Also treat this thread like the last one, just try your absolute very hardest not to get it closed again! aight? (I know its hard but really try)
Guidelines to keep the thread alive:
-Don't use a bunch a smileys
-Don't quote the same posts over and over again like in the first DBP thread
-Have fun

.................... How about pm Takermk and letting him do HIS THREAD over instead of you taking his idea.

Right, so, spam threads are acceptable as long as nobody posts in them? No wait, as long as nobody spams them? No wait, spam threads are alright as long as the people spamming them are using a lot of words? Or are we allowed to spam as much as we like as long as we don't use smilies? Or we can spam our hearts out, so long as we don't quote other people in doing so? Maybe moderators are just closing threads they personally don't find interesting or care about?
I'm confused, honestly, it's like the rules seem to have changed but nobody has been informed of what they are.
Can the moderators discuss this or something, then please get back to us all with what we are and are not allowed to do, and what their personal definition of spam is? Please?

A World of Spam!!!!!!!!
!no evil lliw SOWA

As I understand it, this thread and the other one were designed for posting "whatever is on your mind" at the time you're posting. It's actually a great idea for a topic, if people wouldn't abuse it. It isn't necessarily spam, if used correctly.
I would have likely kept the other topic open myself, but at the time it's not really possible. Deleting the smilies from the thread's final pages would have been a good idea, but as I explained in my thread it isn't wise to delete any post right now.

I found this funny ass joke!
"Buffalo, New York (AP) - A seven-year-old boy was at the center of an
Erie County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over
Who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his
parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping
with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be
maintained to the degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out
that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge
took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have
custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer
with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the
Buffalo Bills, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating
anyone."
