Hell yeah. I just saw Excision live a few weeks ago now that you mention it. Bassnectar and Datsik are coming to town soon as well.

I was going to go to a show he is playing at in two weeks, but I went broke, haha. It's lame, but I'm sure Datsik will make up for it. Especially since he is playing with Benny Benassi. Wish I could go to Bonaroo.

No, Downlink wasn't there. It was still a great line up. Steve Aoki, ecotek, Marty Party, Excision, and Infected Mushroom.

We've been dubstepping it up a couple of months now. Vaski is one of my favorites so far, but I'm excited for Bonnaroo! Buying ticks as soon as they're on sale.

Dubstep & D'n'B is good but it's no Deadmau5. I do kind of dislike though how people are now obsessing over deadmau5. It's annoying to hear people just now talking about someone I have listened to for a while...

Yeah i know what you mean. I like some of his songs. One of his songs has a dubstep remix by Caspa. Pretty good.

I've felt this way about electronica for a while. I'm glad it's starting to impact the mainstream more than ever before, but it gets irritating because as of now it's shitty electro pop. When people talk about how talented Ke$ha is, I rage inside. Her music isn't bad, but there is so much better out there. Guetta is still pumping out some tight tracks, but even he went through a style change after hitting the top 40 charts. It's particularly annoying for me because I've produced this music since a few years before this craze started, and lately my competitors are a bunch of jerk offs who say they're DJs/producers after hearing a few Tiesto tracks from DJ Hero.

This post may come off as arrogant, but I just hate how something as potentially beautiful as electronica is being tampered with by ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE.

BTW, while Deadmau5 may not be dubstep, it has clear influences in his music. Hell, he made a dubstep track over livestream a while back, and it was actually pretty damn good.

I think Deadmau5 new album has some dubstep in it. Haven't heard much of it just some samples.

His new album is pretty amazing. I would certainly advise you to check it out whether you torrent it or youtube it or however you go about finding music.

Has anyone here ever hear of Netsky? He is easily one of my favorite D'n'B artists. idk what it is but there is just something about his music that makes me happy. Especially his song "Escape" ft. MC Darrison.

Here are a few of his songs:
- I Refuse
- Iron Heart - Escape
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is one of my favorite Dubstep mixes posted by UKFdubstep on youtube.

- UKFdubstep August Mix
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And Yes some Deadmau5 has a bit of Dubstep/Drum'n'Bass. "Ghosts 'n' Stuff (Nero Remix)" is classified as that at least. I am not sure if I would count it though since it is a remix lol.
