DVD Burning

OK I am looking for expirenced ppl in DVD burning. I want a program to make DVD-Player compatable DVDs (yes I have a DVD burner, I don't want to discuss VCDs of any sort!) So I have my camcorder mpegs. Now I want to build DVD menus, have audio, pictures, etc.
-I am using Roxio Easy DVD Creater and it is not bad but will only allow about 15 seconds of music before looping on the main menu. It also limits me to 6 buttons per menu (I don't know if this is true of all) I also get sick of their themes and their intro video.
-I tried Adobe Encore and that was above me! It's interface was shit, IMO
-I have used iDVD and that is really limited too. I preffer to do my DVD authoring on a Winbox or Linbox anyway

Any good programs you guys could suggest?

I wonder about this too. I have the Roxio one also and the looping audio gets on your nerves after awhile. I'd go no music actually.

The 6 selection thing isn't really a problem since you can basically make the 6th one a continue selection to another menu of 6 if you like.

Yeah thats what I have been doing. Do you know if there is a way to place your buttons in different spots?
