I'm very confused as to why UNdiscovered's Picture Battle thread was closed. I believe SubMan799 was in the wrong for doing so.

Sure this wasn't the most interesting thread on the Board, but so what? SubMan's reason was "Do we really need this thread?" and the answer is no. We don't need this thread at all. But again, so what? It's in the General Discussion thread, it didn't break any rules, and was meant to be fun. And isn't that part of what forums are about, having fun?

To be honest I don't even see any reason for why any thread would be closed. I've gone through and skimmed other threads that were closed and understand that almost all of them were closed because they belonged in a different area; understandable. But this inparticular act looks to me like admin bullying, and I don't think its fair at all just because you don't think we "need this thread". To be honest there aren't many "nessessary" threads in the interent's exsistance.

I'm not trying to be a troll or an asshole here, I merely am trying to stick up for admin bullying. I don't think it's right. (I didn't know who to address this to, or where to put it, so I just put it here)

His thread was basically the Drive-By thread but only pictures are allowed.

Not necessary.

And Mods do not bully members, I'm sure they all have their reasons and they've been doing this for a while now so I'm pretty sure they know what they're doing.

Actually its not a drive by cause its a battle
picture battles

so is not just random shit theres like sort of an objective to it

No mod here is harassing anyone. The thread wasn't going anywhere and it was Drive-By material. What's not the point in seeing with that?

Undiscovered, if you feel that you are being harassed by a mod, then report it to either Crow or any of those higher mods. But in truth, they aren't harassing you at all.

I was making a suggestion to you, whether or not it's true, I was mainly being nice and saying that if you DID have an issue with a mod or whatever you can complain about it.

Again though, if you don't care why make a statement about it then?

This is why we have problems, if there was something that upset anybody, you could have PM Subman about it, not make a thread calling him out on it, which was totally out of line.


In the future, if you have questions, comments, or concerns direct them at the mods or sub mods via PM, not a thread calling people out.

I dont want it to look like i got problems with mods and shit

u kinda were making it look like i got a problem with subman and there is no reason for it

theres no reason this thread should stay open right now cause there is no problem
and i dont care anymore if my thread is locked

Actually, no I wasn't and yes there was a reason. Suggestions are suggestions, and I simply gave you one whether or not you do have issues with a user here or not. It's basically a friendly thing to do as a sub-mod, they give suggestions.

Since this thread is going to be closed soon, I'm going to stop trying to show you that all I was doing was being nice.

First off, the only reason Icebaby mentioned that bit about harassment is because the Ermacs wrote that SubMan799 was being an "admin bully" with you about closing the thread. That's all, nobody's making any assumptions here about ill-treatment or whatever except him.
However, with that being said, I have to be honest, the Picture Battle thread seemed pretty similar to the Drive-By, as it happens that every couple of pages, there are picture battles. It happens, and it's normal.
With that being said, though, this did not need to become a public issue, and could've been done in PM, so whoever wants to PM SubMan or a higher-up about it can do so using the Private Messaging system we have in place.
And Ermacs, you call this admin bullying? Seriously? That's way too harsh to describe this, in any way, shape, or form.
