Favorite All-Time Rock Song?

Hey, I figured this would be a simple, fun topic. Something to alleviate us from some of the garbage.
Mine is hands down, by far, beyond a reasonable doubt..
Freebird!! I'm listening to it now and man, even after hearing it for the thousandth time this song still amazes me, it is truely a rock n' roll masterpiece.
Also, just to make things educational, heres some rock trivia. The song was written by Lynrd Skynrd about the late Greg Allman, of the Allman Brothers, and the lead singer of the band in Almost Famous(Stillwater), is also based on Greg Allman.
EDIT: Made a mistake, Freebird was written about the late DUANE Allman, however Almost Famous's main rockstar character is indeed based on Greg.

Either Hendrix's Voodo child or something by Soundgarden. I dunno. Pretty much all of their stuff sounds good.

Hendrix is indeed great man.
Man, now that I think about it, most Southern Rock..well, rocks. Lynrd Skynrd, .38 Special, Allman Brothers etc. Makes me proud to be from the South.

By the way, I stated in another thread I knew the late Elliot(Potent Seed), so since I didn't get to apologize to him, I would like to dedicate the song Freebird to him. If you aren't familiar with the song, here are the lyrics. It's about the death of one of the Allman bros of course, so I figured it was appropriate.
If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me
For I must be traveling on now
There's too many places I've got to see
If I stay here with you girl
Things just couldn't be the same
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you cannot change
Oh, and the bird you cannot change
And this bird you cannot change
Lord knows I can't change
Bye-bye babe, it's been sweet, love
'Though this feeling I can't change
But please don't take this so badly
'Cause Lord knows I'm to blame
But if I stay here with you girl
Things just couldn't be the same
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you cannot change
Oh, and the bird you cannot change
And this bird you cannot change
Lord knows I can't change
Lord help me I can't change
Oh No, I can't change
If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me
For I must be traveling on now
There's too many places I've got to see
If I stay here with you girl
Things just couldn't be the same
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now

my fav rock song is prolly My Own Prison By Creed, lemme tell ya there has never been a band that can closely relate to anyone who listens than Creed, hands down! But right now, im listening to "Open Your Eyes" by Alter Bridge.
Also Kudos to the man voting for John Kerry!!

The thing with him, though, is that it's trendy to love him. He was, indeed, great at what he did, but most people around here just wear Hendrix shirts because other people tell him he's good. Same with Cobain and, especially, Marley. All of the fake rasta kids that know nothing of rastafarianism or any other reggae artists, for that matter, annoy me to no end.
As for the real topic at hand, I really can't think of anything right now. I don't listen to a lot of classic rock, or any rock for that matter. When I think of a song, it's probably going to end up being some psychedelic acid trip song.

Alright I've come up with my decision.
Hot For Teacher-Van Halen.
316-Van Halen (AND OH MY GOD IT'S 3:16 AS I
TYPE THIS!!!!NO LIE)
I love Hot For Teacher for the lyrics and wild guitar riff, and beat. I love 316 for it's arpeggio melody, and ability to soothe you while playing it. BTW, I'm listening to Extreme(lead singer joined Van Halen for VHIII) well anyways the song was "Mutha(Don't wanna go to school today), and I found that the guitar mimicked VH in a way with the beginning similar to Eddie's solos(Intro to Hot For Teacher for example)...good song...

It's hard to say. Let me list about six of them that I think are close to being my "favorite", since I really don't have one favorite rock song.
Anthrax - Antisocial
Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?
Pantera - Cowboys From Hell
Shadows Fall - Thoughts Without Words
Skid Row - Youth Gone Wild
Slayer - Angel of Death
