I loved Outlaw Star about a decade ago, I wonder if it'd still hold up if I rewatched it.

The one I personally enjoy watching, when it's not being censored or making it be kid-friendly, is Dragonball Z. Everything else, I do not like.

With that said, however, my boyfriend is trying to get me to like anime a bit more than I do. He's into Gundam, quite a lot actually. I don't mind it at all, I just wish he'd stop watching it in Japanese.

I hate subtitles.

For the longest time it was DBZ. But after I started watching more anime I found better shows.

This for me. Not a big fan of anime type stuff but this series was incredible. Loved it.

And I don't know if this counts, but D.C's Flashpoint Paradox was fuckin amazing as well. One of the best superhero movies I've ever seen, right up there with The Dark Knight imo. Surprisingly gory.

Also, the reason I'm not watching Dragon Ball is because I already completed that.

And I'm already watching Attack on Titan, too. Right now, my favorite character is Armin because he is the overall smartest and he's a great tactitian.

Sword Art Online is pretty darn good!

Eeeehhhh...I really, really wanted to like that one. I love the "trapped in an MMO" concept.

But man, they rushed the ending of the first season and the second had some creepy stuff going on like "girl's in love with her brother but he's adopted so hey, not incest, right?" (I think they're still cousins), or the villain's rapey intentions for the MC's kidnapped girlfriend (her being a damsel in distress in general bums me out since she was a main fighter in season 1).

Sword Art Online is terrible. The MC is a boring shithead and the anime was just rushed and awful. It ended pretty wack with the 1st season, but then they just dragged it on with the whole sister liking the brother shit and it became unbearable.

These are what I'd recommend. I'm not saying you have to avoid SAO. It's honestly a mixed bag because I see a bunch of people praise the shit out of it. You either love it or hate the hell out it. Watch it. Make your own opinion on it. I just wanted to voice my opinion on the matter.

I think it has to be made in Japan to qualify as anime.

That's why Teen Titans isn't anime either.

Although, Teen Titans is awesome. I wish they didn't discontinue it and replace it with something awful.

Teen Titans ended because the creators ran out of stories they wanted to tell. They weren't cancelled, they chose to go out on top at a natural and appropriate ending point.

TT Go is just a show of silly comedy shorts by a different creative team. It doesn't matter to anything.

Mad Bull 34. So far as I know, this is the only real-time documentary in anime form.

TT Go is sometimes funny. Besides, having a parody of something is a testament of it's quality.

Because NGE is one of the best character depictions of people with serious problems. Also, it is fucking hillarious.

Oh you are looking for anime for you to watch, well you said you have completed Dragon Ball so the next thing I would recommend is Yu Yu Hakusho.

Make sure you watch everything Dragon Ball has to offer though. I know some people hate the movies and GT but if you just enjoy seeing the characters they are at least worth a watch, including the OVAs, festival shorts and tv specials.

So yeah, watch all the DB stuff, then go onto Yu Yu Hakusho.
